Our Story
Monarab
Horses are the inextinguishable flame behind my existence. I find infinite joy in sharing my passion. My journey began by opening a horseback riding stable in Monteverde in 1999, well-known as Smiling Horses. Trail riding, breeding Arabian horses, and Equestrian Endurance are my expertise. I have been on the National Board Of Directors for several years in this sport and constantly work to develop it in Costa Rica. I am the endurance riding National Champion 2018 and 2019 in 80 km. In 2020, as a combination, I completed my first 120 km FEI C*2 International Race. In the 2023 national championship I started my first arabian off spring of my own breeding in 40 km and finished first as rider, horses and combination. My in-depth experience coupled with Costa Rica's beauty make for an unforgettable adventure for experienced riders in this amazing region of Monteverde and Tilaran.
